The API lets your own code, or a tool that can call an API, read and change your contacts, companies, deals, tasks and project work, and read your invoices, estimates and appointments.

Create a key

The owner opens Account, Integrations, names the key, and chooses what it may do:

• Add leads only: for a website form. It cannot read anything.
• Read only
• Read and change

A key can also be limited to parts of your account. It is shown once: copy it then. Revoke a key on the same page and it stops working at once.

For your developer

Send them the API reference. It needs no sign-in, and has a quick start, examples in Python and JavaScript, every call, and a file that tools such as Postman can import.

Treat a key like a password: never put one in a web page or anywhere public.
