Build your own report
Choose what to count, how to group it and which dates matter, then save the report or export it.
Each product has its own Reports page with the figures most companies want. When you need a different cut, open More, Reports in the menu.
Building one
- Report on: deals, contacts, CRM tasks, invoices, work items or appointments. You see the ones for the products you have a role in.
- Measure: what to add up, such as the number of deals, their total value, or what is still owed on invoices.
- Group by: the bars you want, such as stage, owner, customer or project. Month, Quarter, Year and Week group by date instead.
- Dates and Period: which date counts (when a deal was created, or when it closed) and how far back to look.
The report redraws with each choice. Click a bar to look only at that part, then group it another way. For example: group deals by owner, click one person, then group by stage. Filters you have added show under Only; click one to remove it.
Saving, sharing and exporting
- Save report keeps the choices under a name. It keeps the choices and not the numbers, so a report for "This month" always shows the current month.
- Share with my team lets everyone with a role in that product open it.
- Export CSV downloads what is on the screen for a spreadsheet.
Who sees what
A report never shows more than the pages do. A sales rep sees their own deals, contacts and tasks, and a staff member sees their own appointments, even in a report a manager shared.
